HALLOWEEN!!

 

Iv done my mood board in a more 'Monsters' style theme. This is because monsters fall into the category of Halloween. 

I love the Iron Man interpretation. It's iron man but in a sort of monster theme. Id love to do my own interpretation of a Halloween Supermonster!

I also got some images of some strange stances to help me with the dead look.

So i took the picture i liked best and drew it in Photoshop. Not too happy with it really. Painting scenery is really difficult and frustrating to learn. MORE PRACTICE!

Some Perspective Help.

 Yeeeeeeeeeeee, I would move these images in a better order but its retarded and wont let me.

But ye i made these in 2ds max to get a few camera views on how i want to draw and paint the scenery. Also gives me an accurate perspective.

I'm liking the images of these dark human/alien figures standing on or walking over giant trees. It really makes you think where they could be and what they are doing there.

Some Weird Surreal Sh*t

 

 Really starting to get the hang of painting with a tablet. My painting still looks a bit Matt like so i still need to work on it a bit (shiny, skin imperfections). Overall it was just a painting but to make something surreal I added a bit of weird by adding a skull, which i a picture placed over by the way.

What's Up Surreal Monkey?

 

I couldn't think of anything to draw for surrealism or if i could i could not think of how i could draw it. So i did like most people do and photo shop my own design. The image is based on a particular artist which you can see on my mood board.

Need to seriously work on my tablet painting. Took me over a day to figure out how to do basic shaping. Still a lot to learn. pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffft

After a year of trying to draw some ideas by pensil. I finally gave up and went to drawing blocky shapes that just came to mind and before I knew it, I had a few silhouette ideas.

Really like the image of the woman with tenticals. almost robot like but organic.

Tenticles

The whole idea of these two characters are that they are cyborgs that have been fitted with a intelligent alien that cant physically move itself so the robot body helps it with this problem.

                                                                                  I managed to create a female and male tenticle character, plus a tenticle creature. I much prefer the male character but its a shame i couldnt fit the legs in. I also did some tenticle drawings to get me in the right state of mind, Just need to finish off with a colour piece.
